Schindler's list

For the past two weeks in social studies I have been watching the movie ‘Schindler’s list’ . As I was watching the film I had to write small bits of information to use in the reflection.  I learnt about the how the Germans portrayed themselves in those times and how Jewish people were peasant people compared to the Germans. German Women were heavily involved with the war against the Jews and in the film it seemed as if they had fun with what they were doing.  I saw the different emotions from both Germans and Jews, Germans had no remorse but you had a handful who cared about the Jewish people like Oskar Schindler and the Jews were scared. Oskar Schindler was a kind man because he sacrificed himself to save the 1200 Jews. But why I thought about this for awhile thing why would a German man help Jewish people what compelled him to save those people. In the film you seen a girl in a red coat to me the red symbolises the innocence of the blood that was shed. Schindler's List tells the true story of a Czech factory owner who saved 1,200 Jews from dying in the Nazi concentration camps. I can only imagine if we were going through something like that.
