Fun Run
On Friday it was the school FUN RUN. We travelled to United Kawawkawa on a train once we arrived we got told the rules for the day and then the races begun it started from the five year old's and made it's way up. During the duration of the time we waited some people helped around the courses.
Finally it was our turn it was not at all nervous as allot of decided on not to try. The horn went of and then we jogged around the corner and started walking. There was a group of people who tried for a placing but a bigger group who didn't try. We ran the course until we got to the mud we had a huge mud fight and got as dirty as possible we were tackling each other into the mud and then afterwards we had a swim. But then we had to leave and finish of the race we ran to the road then we jumped on the back of a track and finally ran around the field an completed the race.

Matariki
For the last two day the whole school has been doing Matariki activity's, because it's Matariki and we do these every year year. The hard part was to make our co-operate with everyone The easy part was to cooperate with my team to play Tapuae and Ki-o-rahi. I wouldn't do it again because I like to try different things. The point why we only play those games at Matariki time is because they represent peace and harmony and it also is a taonga tuku iho and a game from our tupuna.
