Smart learner

We are learning to be a smart learner.
For the next weeks we are learning about being a smart blogger at the moment I sit at a step up blogger a stepping up learner is someone who is nearly reached a quality and a high leveled blogger. The hard part will be learning how to get there with near to none errors. The easy part will be to know how to make my blog posts relevant.

Intergers

This week we have been learning about  integers.I believe that it was easy because we were learning a really easy strategy called hills and dales. Integers are negative numbers  e.g  -8 + -7 =-15

reading

Today in reading we were finishing our work of summarizing. We learnt about the big 5, the big 5 is these important things for summarizing. Someone,Wanted Because But and Then.It the similar to where what when and who.Summarizing is good for putting things into your own words and for making long text shorter.

Maths eyes

The past weeks we have been learning to see math in everything we see here is my work.

My Reading Goals

Throughout the term I will be learning how to use appropriate skills, Technology and resources to find relevant information. I think at the end of this process i will be able to do this knowing the hard things and the easy things. During this there would be hard challenges and easy but i will make it.

24 hr time

Today for Pangarau some of my class and I have been learning to tell 24 hour time. The easy part was to write down the answers for the questions that I understand. The hard part was knowing when the time reset after it hits 24 hours. 

I can tell the digital time by:

Knowing the patterns of the time

Pm starts with 1 or 2

Am starts with a 0

The time resets when it hits mid night

    What is this time

Telling the time

This week I have been learning about analog clocks and digital clocks.The learning that we did was very helpful because it helped me learn what I need to learn about clocks.We were transferring analog clock to 24 hour clock.It switches to 24 hour time midday (12 pm). In the morning say 2:00 it will be 0200 and in the after-noon at 2:00 it was 1400.Know that I know how to do this it will help me better with clocks.
